My Mommy :)

I think sometimes Moms don't have time to think about themselves.  We are busy raising kids, or praying for kids, or fixing dinners, running errands, grocery shopping, praying we are doing the right thing, and on and on and on.  I am so blessed to have my mom around.  She raised me to be an independent woman that fights for what I believe in, can handle anything that comes my way, and loves my children and family unconditionally.  I hope I make her proud, because I sure am proud of her.  She wants so badly for this to be her last year teaching.  I tell her over and over how she can make it if she has to.  She stops and says, "how did you get like this? You always see the bright spots."  Well, Phyllis, it was you.  You've walked through so much in life, and yet each time, after a few tears (or a lot) you pick yourself up and keep going.  You are an inspiration to me and I am thankful for each moment we have together.  I know I don 't answer the phone quite as much as you would like. I attribute that to my screaming children the time of day you choose to call. ;) I know I am not perfect, but I am a proud daughter. I am proud of you. I love you to the moon and back and maybe even a little more.  I wish Nana could be around to see us now.  I smile every time I buy you a purse because of think of her. :)  I always loved how she loved an accessory.  I hope you know how much we all love you.  This mother's day I am thankful for a lot of things. I am thankful for my precious Mom and the role she plays in my life. I am thankful for two miracle babies that gave me the most precious title I have ever held, Mom. Ours lives are not perfect by any means, but with family by your side, you can make it through anything.  I love you Phyllis Susan Anderson Sartin. :) I'm so proud to call you my Mom.

Fun at the Coast!

We had a fun weekend at the coast!  The kids had a ball playing in the pool and going out on the boat with Uncle Mikey!  Whit even caught his first fish in the ocean!  With a little help from Uncle Mikey of course!  :)

Pre K Program

Kenndedy's last day of Pre-K was Friday!  I cannot believe my BABY is going to Kindergarten in the fall!  It goes by SOOOO fast!  They did a little dance and song for us.  It was adorable!  Then she was awarded her Pre K trophy!  She was so excited!

 Going to get her award!

So proud of my BIG girl!

She was so excited Nette could come!
Whit begged to have one of the masks from her song. ;)  He's ready for big school too!
 My precious family :)
K and one of her besties, Bailey :)
Mrs. Flemming....I can't thank her enough for making my BABY's first year of big girl school so wonderful!!  She was AWESOME!  Kennedy loves her so much!

So far, you love school, Kennedy.  Now, you did get two notes home this year and did not like it one bit.  Mrs. Flemming describes you as "social".  You love to learn, but you also LOVE to talk!  She said she moved you next to the quietest students in the class and  you couldn't help but talk to them too!  Sweet girl, I think you get it honest! I hope you always love learning.  School is so much fun!  We are so very proud of you!!

Last Day of Pre K!

Oh, these two....what will I do with them?  They LOVE each other so much.  Sometimes they drive us crazy with their giggling!  Here they are on the morning of their LAST day of Pre K!  Off to Kindergarten they go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I can't believe it!!

First Soccer Season!

Our first spring at the rec deptartment came to a close with Kennedy's last soccer game!  I forgot my camera at Whit's last game.  Shame on me!  ;)  I guess I'll just have to remember it forever. He LOVED every minute of playing a real game.  Kennedy, is a different story, I am afraid.  She did love most of every minute about soccer.  She enjoyed hanging out with her new friends.  She loved the socialization part of it.  When it came to game time she wasn't quite as agressive as we hoped.  We cheered and cheered in hopes that she would actually make contact with the ball.  She didn't care if they won or lost, she just like going.  I am so proud of you, kennedy!  You aren't the most competetive kid, but you tried your best!  It reminds me way too much about how I feel about sports!   At one game, I laughed so hard because she was at the other end of the field while all the other players fought for the ball.  She said it was just in case they came back.  Hahahahaha!
