Yes, my friends my children are doing new things everyday! Saturday night we went to Jonathan and Sarah's for dinner and I handed Kennedy an ABC book and said to her, "Here read the ABC book." She then proceeded to sing the ABC's. They are not perfect by any means but she got really close to the real thing. I sat there in amazement because I have never heard her do that before!! It is like when she crawled she waited and waited and then just crawled perfectly across the floor. She hides things from us!! I tried tonight to catch it. My video camera lagged for the beginning and she never made it to z but you get the point I guess! And I had to include little Whit doing his new skill, rolling over! And I would like to apologize for my loud, YAY!! that comes after they both finish. I really am a very loud person!!!

My Kennedy
Oh, my kennedy brings us great joy! She stayed home with Greg today and he got a small dose of how it is to be me. He left right when I got home to run an "errand." I think she wore him out! She is much better today and has been fever free all day! Yay! She has been making us laugh all night long. At one point Greg and I both had tears in our eyes she was making us laugh so hard. It is just so funny the things she says! Here are some examples just for documentation sake!
Whit is playing on the floor and Kennedy lays down next to him. She says to him, "Buddy row, hi buddy row. Buddy row look at me buddy row." Greg has come up with this stupid name and she has picked up on it. It really is funny to hear her say it! She sounds like the most country redneck child that ever existed. Where did we get her from? "Pumpkin! Hiney Pumpkin!" Whit is wearing his pumpkin jammies with a pumpkin on his hiney. She got a kick out of this. I can't remember where the conversation went from there because we were laughing so hard.
This is my favorite. It might be my favorite so far. I was putting her to bed and saying her prayers.
Me: "Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep"
K: "Pray the Lord, Bobby, Pray the Lord" as she pats Bobby on the head. (Bobby is her baby she sleeps with every night)
Me: "Angels watch me through the night and wake me when the sun shines bright"
K: "Sun shines bright, Bobby, sun shines bright"
Me: "AMEN!"
My Kennedy you do break my heart into pieces!

Day 3 of the fever....
Not yellow fever, ha,ha, just the Kennedy fever. She came down with it Friday and this morning she woke up with a fever again. It left for a while and is back again! Poor thing she has felt so bad. I hate when little ones get sick! We did find time to carve a pumpkin yesterday when she was feeling a little better. It is a Greg and Katie combo design. You know you want one right? My sweet Kennedy that is deathly afraid of the chick fila cow was also very scared of our pumpkin. We tired to make it a happy one and she did not like it at all! Oh, well!
Here his K with her Daddy. That is about as close as she would get to the pumpkin. How did I get a child that scared of things? We lite it up last night and took her out to see it in the dark and she really did not want to get near it! We will not be torturing her with Santa this year. I guess Whit will be the only one to sit in Santa's lap! He won't mind this year! Oh, and the weather here is fabulous! Thank you Liza for sending some our way! We got out the long sleeves and sweatshirts! Aaahhhh I do love fall!

3 Months Old!! WOW!
Whit is now officially 3 months old! I started the tradition of taking a little photo shoot on their month birthdays with Kennedy. It is neat to look back and see how they have grown! I took him out for his photo shoot today and he was so serious about it! I wanted to get some with the pumpkins but it didn't work out quite as planned. Kennedy got very jealous while I was trying to take his pictures so that got cut shorter than I wanted. Anyways, here are some pics from our day. He is getting to be such a big boy!

At 3 months:
* You love to play on the floor. Your favorite toy is your mirror and play gym. You like to lay on your tummy and just look at yourself!
*You can roll over!
*You are perfecting the "social" smile as we have named it. You participate in life around you and really find the joy in it. It melts my heart to have you just look up and me and grin.
* You are a very happy boy! I can't even think of the last time you were really mad!
* You love your sister. I will catch you just watching her and smiling.
*You are getting very good at holding your head up while on your tummy.
*You are working on sleeping through the night. You don't need a feeding much anymore in the night. You just require a transfer of beds (from yours to mine!) about 3:00 every night. I am working on correcting that but it is taking some time! You are very spoiled! (that would be my fault)
*You are still obsessed with your paci. It is a necessity for sleep!
I wish I could put into words how much he has changed our lives. I worried so much that we weren't ready for this and that I couldn't love another one like I did Kennedy. If you are a mother you know how deep the love you have for your child. If you are a mother of two or more you know how much your love can grow. I just stare at him sometimes and wonder what I would have done without him. I cannot imagine our family without him now! He melts my heart a hundred times a day. I love being a mom and God has given me so much in giving my children. I am forever grateful for my little miracles.
I love this little smirk!

And I didn't want to leave out a smile! This smile was for his Daddy!

Roll Over!!
That's right folks, my little Whit has learned a new skill! He rolled over once the day he was dedicated about a month ago and never did again. This morning I laid him on a blanket on the floor and he immediately flipped over. I put him back on his tummy and he did it again! Then I put him down for his nap and he rolled over in his crib. I guess I need to admit that my baby can roll over! So tummy to back rolling we have accomplished. What a big boy thing to do! Stop it Whit!! Mommy wants you to stay a baby forever. Are you not listening to me? I'll let you have this accomplishment but please don't rush into anything else. I am not ready! Stay a baby, stay a baby, stay a baby please!!!!

The Fair!
Well, the fair has made its way to the boro! They have a fair parade every year the Monday it starts. I found this really strange when I moved here but it is fun when you have kids. So we packed everyone up and went to the parade. We met up with Banks and Drew to enjoy the fun. They enjoyed it! Kennedy was deathly afraid of anything in a costume. I worry about that! Whit slept through half of the parade in my arms. He is just so sweet! We then went to check out the fair. K was scared of the rides at first but then warmed up to them and had a blast! It was a fun day! Oh, and the music was intentionally picked out to make you feel as though you were there with us. I know you wish you were at a fair parade!
Our weekend with the White's!

The GJGC, Green Jacket Golf Club, for those of you who are uneducated in my husband's retarded club, came to town this weekend for their Fall Classic. Yes, it has a name. They are all truly retarded and enjoy this stupid club. Yes I called it stupid! There are rules and regulations, charter members, and an actual green jacket. I wonder about them sometimes! Anyway, Brad and Beth came to stay with us and we got to meet Harris! He is so cute! Kennedy really enjoyed having another baby around. Greg got a little Brad time and that is always good for his soul! It was good to spend the weekend with old friends. We got together Sunday night with Rob, Jennifer, their kids, Brooke, Boyd, Bryn, Brad, Beth and Harris and I thought wow we have grown since we last hung out! It was good to see everyone!
