MeMe and Pops

We spent the weekend with MeMe and Pops. They are all moved in to their new house. Kennedy loved it there! She especially loved the dogs. Dogs are her new favorite thing. She cackles when she sees Riley. Riley almost took a bite out of old Toby this weekend. Yes, Toby is still alive and mean as ever. He barked at Kennedy and Riley did not like it at all and snapped at him. Very funny! These are just a few pics of the weekend. Kennedy's scrathes are a little better. She head planted on the floor at mom and dads trying to lunge at something. That is her attempt at crawling. She keeps banging her head! She also had her first big girl bath at Meme's. I am posting lots of pics this time. There are just too many to choose from!

First fight with Drew...

Kennedy and Drew had their first fight today. He apparently thought her face was a toy! It looks much worse than I think she feels. You can tell that by the smile on her face! I am sure that Jen and I have many more years of scraps and bruises our children will inflict on each other.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MEME!

Well today is a very special day folks. MeMe turned _______ today. I will let her fill in the blank. I will tell you she is 28 years older than me. :) I have decided our present, that is you my readers, should comment with your favorite Phyllis moment. Some might go back years and years and some might be recent. Some of you have been slacking off in my comment section and I officially call that you have to post a comment about old Phyl if you are reading this.

I tried to think of my favorite Phyl moment and I cannot come up with one specific one. There are just so many stories to share! :) I will think up a corny joke and post that later. :)

It's a........

Well today was the big day for Fun Sarah and Jonathan. They found out today they are having a BOY! I am super pumped about it. I would have been super pumped about her having a girl too. I am really just super pumped that she is far enough along to know what it is and it is a healthy baby boy. How exciting! It feels like yesterday we were just finding out Kennedy was a girl. I will never forget Greg's face of pure shock. I don't think he said a word for a few minutes. Why do all boys just think they are going to have boys? Did they forget that someone has to have girls so we can all have more people in the world?

In Kennedy news she has now become a baby that goes to sleep when you lay her down. I spent the whole summer rocking and snuggling and one week at Miss Michelle's and she cries once and falls asleep. Naptime and night time. Are you kidding me? I can still rock her, which I love, but she really wants to just go lay down. I am really blessed to have such a good baby.

I am now officially really tired. 9:30 and I am really tired. Talking about Kennedy sleeping made me tired. Have a great day!

Those wonderful chairs.....

Greg came home Friday with two Adirondack chairs. Sounds pretty ordinary but adirondack chairs go way back in our history. A long, long, time ago on St. Simon's Island there were many adirondack chairs sitting on the pier. I have sat with many of you and contemplated life in those chairs. They are very special and hold many good memories. I decided I might like Greg while sitting in those chairs! Liza and I figured out life's most important questions in those chairs. They became a symbol of our friendship. They got rid of those chairs for some reason a few years ago. Liza and I were so sad. They put in benches instead! So now in my backyard lie two adirondack chairs. It makes me very happy. Kennedy and I went out at sat in them today and contemplated life. She told me life is pretty great. I agree. I hope that in your backyard you find a symbol of life's greatness like I do. I get to look at my new chairs and think of how great and full my life is, past and present. You all are invited to come sit in them with me!

Little K

I haven't posted any pics of K Pup lately so I thought I would take some today. She is currently a little under the weather. She has a bit of a cold, which is due to the fact she is around kids again. She can't breathe out of her nose very well. It doesn't keep her down for long though. She is still busy playing. She sported her new dress from Aunt Courtney today. We are busy partying this weekend. We are having the Sunday School party at our house on Friday night, on sat I have a baby shower and that night we have a wedding shower to go to. Crazy partiers we are!

Today

Liza is still driving the PT cruiser. That still makes me laugh.

My feet hurt.
