13 Months!
I know I say this every month, but I cannot believe my little Kennedy is 13 months old! She is such fun to be around lately. She has always had the greatest disposition. When she was little her cry was even sweet. She enjoys almost every minute of every day. Her little smile is contagious! She is still busy learning new words. She now says book all the time and brings it to you and says book and reaches for you so you can read it to her. She still has not mastered the walking yet. She is down to the one hand hold and is getting good at that. The minute you let go she falls to the ground. She doesn't realize she isn't depending on us that much! In due time, i guess! I am trying to teach her mommy has a baby in her belly. She will grab her belly and laugh. That is as far as we have gotten with that! Keeping with monthly tradition here are her 13 month pictures from today. She enjoyed the photo shoot this time!

A little daddy love
When you have a baby you love and kiss them all you can. I think you are lost in the excitement of this little new life you created. Then they smile at you for the first time and you melt. Then out of this tiny baby comes the sweetest sound you will ever hear, a little laugh. Every little step they take you are amazed! I think for Greg, it has been waiting for her to say DaDa and then now she loves to give kisses. You love them so much and then one day they wake up and let you know they love you so much too! I caught Kennedy giving her Daddy a little kiss today. Melts his heart, I promise! She LOVES her daddy! :)
A little baseball lesson? She couldn't hold the ball with one hand! Too big! She did throw it once. :)

A nice weekend...
We had a nice weekend at the Olliff household. Greg got home Saturday after a LONG trip away. 3 whole days! I know, I know, it was not that long. I just don't like being at home at night alone. I start hearing things....
Kennedy had her 1 year pictures on Saturday. I planned them at the perfect time of day, when she would be nice and rested. She of course heard me say she was having the pictures and planned on a nap boycott before the pictures. She finally fell asleep 2o minutes or so before we had to leave. I snatched her out of bed at the last minute and took her in her jammies. She was actually in a great mood for the pictures. Her favorite thing to do is push the walkers she got for her birthday and everything we tried to get her to hold on to she would push across the studio. Needless to say, we did not get many of her standing. She was on the go!
Drew has been quarantined all weekend sick with an ear infection. Fever was finally gone for 24 hours and we could visit again! Kennedy was so excited to see Dew! She actually ignored him completly when he first got here. I was excited to see Jen again at least!
I am not posting my pictures in the right order tonight. Oh, well! We took them outside for a little swingset time today. They played in the playhouse and had a great time! I am really enjoying the stage she is in right now. She is talking and learning so much each day! Her new favorite thing is to hold her hands up from across the room, look at me with puppy dog eyes, and say MaMa, MaMa.. in the sweetest voice. Makes you get up and go get her. She knows way too much already! She has me wrapped!
Although Drew can now lap Kennedy walking, he still comes down to her level every once in a while. :)

I like this one. I love the look on her face. Imagine what they are thinking!

And not to be left out.... Riley was our first baby, and has been left out a lot. She is now getting in trouble for jumping on tables. And not just Kennedy's little table, this is her in her timeout spot for getting on the kitchen table! Maybe I should give her more attention. Look at those sad eyes!

That's all! I hope this will be enough to keep you through the week. I have not been a good during the week blogger. Oh, new baby update..14 weeks yesterday and we go on Feb 6 to find out what we are having. That is in a week and a half!! I will start posting some bellly pics after that. I have found myself in some maternity pants already! Aahhh the life with no zippers. It is so good for a while.... I know to enjoy it!

Happy Birthday Greg!!!
Today is Greg's 29th birthday! :) Last year we celebrated long distance while he was in Dallas and Kennedy was just 3 weeks old. This year he was off to Jekyll Island for a conference. I am much more able to keep Kennedy by myself! It is a little less scary. That is until I heard about a burglar that apparently recently broke into someone's house near here. I was then scared to come home after Jen and I took a walk. I made Chad come over with his baseball bat and all and search my house, even the closet inside the closet, and make sure we were all clear. All clear! :) I had all intentions of taking Kennedy's picture with Greg today but we were so rushed this morning getting out the door. So, my dear sweet Gregory, here's to you on your 29th birthday! We'll have to love you from far away again this year! Maybe next year we should spend the day together. It will be the 4 of us then! :) I LOVE YOU!

She's Electric!
This made laugh so hard today I had tears in my eyes! Kennedy LOVES laundrey and I put her in the basket today with all the towels. I folded them while she continued to sit in the basket. She finally knocked it over but kept playing in it. That is when she became electric! We joke about her crazy hair anyways, but this one took the cake. Enjoy my electric baby! :)

Play Date!
Kennedy and Aiden had a playdate today. It started off like this. Aiden comes in nice and scared, Kennedy ignores him and finishes her lunch. Aiden then eats his lunch while Kennedy plays with her toys and continues to ignore him. Drew comes over and joins the fun. The three babies continue to ignore each other completely and play in their own little worlds. They did finally start fighting over the same toys. What if our lives were like that? The boys can run circles around my poor crawling baby. Sitting duck! In all seriousness, we had fun. It was good to see Sandra and Aiden. I don't see them as much as I would like. Life keeps us too busy! We had fun!
