You don't choose your family. They are God's gift to you, as you are to them. ~Desmond Tutu

My Valentines
Raising a BOY
Boys are easier than girls right??? :)
I made Valentine's cookies. Whit had 2. He wanted more. I said no and put them on the counter. I turn around to find this.........
Where there is a will there is a way! ;)
Whit: This face.....and you can see what he is doing.
He better be glad he has that killer smile....;)

Praying for Aunt Tonya
Maybe you fall into a cause. Maybe things are placed in your way for a reason. I have never been an advocate for anything. I have gone to things like Relay for Life, but never been actively involved. This year, I am on a team. I have a whole new reason to fight against cancer. Any little thing I can do to help, I will. The family went to the annual Pack the House in Pink at Georgia Southern. It is the breast cancer awareness basketball game that is held each year. So in honor of all breast cancer survivors, and our very favorite survivor, Aunt Tonya, we dolled up in our breast cancer apparel and went out to raise awareness. I'll post on her from time to time so you don't forget to pray for her. She's cancer free right now. She's doing great. She has a rockin short hair do. She laughs and jokes and smiles like she always does. Yet, we all pray each day one thing, that this cancer stays away. I pray she is healed completely. I posted on a prayer that a lady in our Sunday school prayed for her last year. I'll never forget it. In it, she prayed for 100 percent healing for Tonya. I'll never be able to tell you every word she said, but I 100% believe in that moment, in that prayer, that I felt God heal her. So, I still pray for that. I pray that He did heal her. I pray for a LONG life. So if you feel like joining, us please do. We love you Aunt Tonya!

Eli Grayson Smith!!!
The Smiths welcomed Eli in December. He is beautiful and just perfect!! We enjoyed dinner with them and Kennedy was the most excited of all. She jumped and clapped at everything he did. I should share here that I did the same thing. She is just like me. She's a born mother. She has been carrying a baby around since she could. Before she could walk she pushed her baby around with her walker. We are so happy you are here, Eli! Welcome to the crazy crowd!! We love you!
I might add here that Kennedy is obsessed with her pajamas. Everyday when we get home she puts them on. I don't know where she gets that from??? ;)
WAY TOO GROWN!
She's four going on 13. The other day she got so mad, she ran to her room and slammed the door. I was like, is she 13??? She's growing up way too fast!! She has talked since she was 9 months old. She hasn't stopped since. I am always amazed at the things she comes up with. I am watching my little girl grow up way too fast!
Playing dress up in my clothes. My polka dot heels are her favorite thing to wear. It is scary how good she is at walking in them!
A House Full of Sartins :)
There is not much that makes me happier than to have my whole family under one roof for the night. Blake and Tonya and the kids came down for a weekend in January. It was SO good to see them. My kids adore their cousins. I love having my family all together. Patrick brought his girlfriend Holly to meet the entire houseful of craziness. God bless her, she survived. ;)
