Yet another sweet moment

I think her vocabulary has expanded a million times lately. She is constantly amazing me. Tonight we say our prayers and I always let her say thank you God for.... and we fill in everyone. After we say them she says, "Mommy, I love SuSu, and Poppa, I love Courtney, and MeMe, and I love Pops, and Uncle Patrick, and Blake and Henley, and Lander, and Paisley. I love you mommy." Word for word.... I think it is so sweet when she thinks about everyone she loves. If only we could work on the going to bed issue.....hmmmmmm......I'll take the joys and the struggles I guess! Have a great weekend!

A Kennedy moment

We are snuggling on the couch last night and she leans over to me, puts her hand on my head and pulls me closer and says, "I love my mommy" as she strokes my hair. Seriously? She melts my heart!

My boys

Ok, so this week has been CRAZY so far. We had to keep the nursery at church (don't ask), I have had a HORRIBLE stomach virus and had to miss a day of work with NO pay! Ugghh...Went back to school yesterday and did not get near enough done because I missed a day of work, started back with kids today and realize my life is crazy....then you see things like this. Life spins around you like a blurr when you have little ones but moments like these make it all worth it...what is really important? My boys are so special to me! Whit does love his DaDa and that DaDa does love his little boy! I am so blessed!

And for the first time EVER....

Here they are! They are both smiling! And they are in the same picture together! This is quite an accomplishment. I have been trying forever to get them to take a picture together. Kennedy is way to on the move lately to sit still for a picture. So here are my precious babies...in the same frame. It makes me happy!

My sweet kiddos

I took a few pics yesterday I really needed to share! I just think they are so cute! :) Kennedy's hair has been driving me CRAZY!! I HATE bangs on a little girl, seriously I will never let her have bangs. It was so bad for me growing up with bangs...such an ugly phase! I also hate a mullet. I cannot stand for her hair to be shorter in the front than the back. That is why we have had 3 haircuts to catch it all up. A little bob does look really cute on her. Well currently the middle of her hair is growing in a downward position and the sides of the front are not growing! Everyday I try something new and nothing works! The side swoop with a bow is the only way and I am a little tired of that. So here is my little fraggle with piggy tails! It turned out sort of cute. She still had hair hanging down in the back. I hope we will soon be out of this unruly hair stage!

And Whit was being so cute last night before bathtime I had to snap a pic. He was on Kennedy's big girl bed, hence the polka dots. I really need to move him off of the girly things when I take pictures don't I? He has discovered his feet and gets so excited when he sees them again!

A little Whit!

Everyone needs a little Whit sometimes! He has been so sweet lately. I say lately, but he really is sweet most of the time. He is currently learning to roll around the room. He used to stay on a blanket but now I have to watch him! He has mastered the back to front roll to pair with his front to back roll and I think he is beginning to realize he can get places! He also has LOVED his present from Santa. Kennedy used to just sit in the jumperoo and he bounces like crazy! I may be in for it with a boy this time. Girls are just so content to sit...at least Kennedy was. I might need to get all my snuggles in now while he still lets me! Enjoy!

Happy 2009 people!

I hope you all had a very happy new year! We rang it in starting like a bunch of old people...our kids were all still up at 10:00...I don't think New Year's will ever be the same. :) We had to split up the party and take half of the kids to my house and the other at Jen's. Then we met in the middle of the backyard to ring in the new year..monitors and all! We are old people aren't we? Jen is in none of these pictures because I didn't get my camera out until later. And she didn't make it to midnight..bless her...a new baby getting up all night is hard! Why don't they come out sleeping through the night? I would have a lot more children if that were true. And I would also like to not be fat for a year after a baby too. Then I would really have a lot of kids. I am getting off track here. Here are a few pics of our fun night. I would like to point out that my dear husband was in rare form. He had a few regrets the next day!

The girls
J and Sarah...aren't they so cute?

A smoochie pic....Sweet isn't it? You know you wish you were me! Ha!

And Chad Prosser...yes he has on a pretty sweatshirt with PINK in it...I couldn't leave this one out! And he is smiling in it. I think it is the pink that is making him chuckle.

Greg and Chad...there will be no explanation on this one.

Me and Sarah and our fabulous martinis! There was a fire in front of us hence the smoky pic..

Oh and Oh my goodness....I got a text after midnight and Greg comes running in. It is a picture of a ring on my friend Anna's hand!! WHAT?!!! So congrats to my Anna. I am so happy for you! May you find true happiness with your true love. We love you!
