Those crazy bunnies! I'm just not so sure about them!

So, we were not a fan of the bunnies! I thought she would love them! Greg showed them to her and this is her expression..
Then she decides that she is not going to have anything to do with this strange animal!

She finally warmed up to them after multiple photo shoot opportunities. This is as interested as she got and we never got a smile out of her! Who doesn't like bunnies! I think we will stay away from the mall bunny this year. I am sure she doesn't like him either!

Her first hair cut!

Well, we finally removed the K Pup Mullet, as it has started to be known as. Kennedy had her first hair cut today! Mrs. Pat Chandler did the honors and it was special to have her give Kennedy her first hair cut! It started off ok, she liked the big chair. Then we began to get a little upset...

So, we gave her a sucker. This is also a first! She liked it for a little while, got it all over her shirt and then.... She decided she didn't care if she like Mrs. Pat or not and she really did not like this hair cut thing...

And then it was finished for my Kennedy. She had enough of this! We did actually get her hair cut and she looks so cute. Just a little trim in the back, but it looks so grown up to me! My baby has enough hair to get it cut? What in the world? I hope she learns to like hair cuts!

Rub My Belly for Good Luck!

Not my belly, Kennedy's! :) Maybe my big growing belly is good luck though! Aunt Courtney got Kennedy this lovely t-shirt for St. Patty's Day. It is perfect for her because she LOVES her belly. Just to prove it we asked her to rub her belly and you get the pic on the right! The shirt was a little short, which made it even funnier because her little belly stuck out!
I remember all the St. Patrick's Days when my little baby brother would wake up and announce "his" day. He always thought it was made for him. I still think about that. Little Patrick, where did the time go? I hope you all had a nice St. Patty's Day. We wore our green and didn't get pinched! Have a good week! Remember to rub your belly for good luck! Kennedy says so!

Life is tough sometimes....:)

My friend Lauren always jokes with me about how happy my life is. And, all in all it is a happy life we have. I am always posting my favorite pictures of my precious Kennedy so I wanted to include this one! :) We call these, "Katie fits." At this point in life they slightly make me laugh. She will get so mad at something and cry and then come to me immediatly even if I am the source of the madness! Poor Kennedy, growing up with me for a mom, the queen of fits. We'll see how this combo works out in the future! I took this Saturday on our way to a birthday party. She did not want me to put her down and I wanted to take her picture! This is the shot I got! She was immediatly cured when i picked her up, not to worry, this baby has a happy life!

We love Aunt Courtney!

Aunt Courtney was here last week for MeMa's 80th birthday. We had fun! Kennedy spent the day with her and played and played with her Aunt Courtney. I think she might have worn Courtney out! Here are a few pics I took of them. We had fun visiting with you Jerk! I wish we saw you more! We miss you!

Sweet Little Drewbie...

I am so thankful for good friends! I think that life should be shared with the ones you love the most! It is funny how life takes you places you never knew would happen. And in the end, it turns out better than you ever expected! It is like that with many of my dear friends. Jen for example was given to me through Greg and Chad. It is funny how their childhood relationship has gone through the test of time and they married us, and we became such good friends! We joke and say Kennedy and Drew will grow up and love each forever. I hope they at least have the lasting friendships that we have! It is nice to have such close friends you can share life's sorrows and joys with. And to have best friends right next door is so wonderful! So sweet little Drewbie, we love you so much! Kennedy is so happy to have you in her life! She doesn't know what she would do without her "Dew!" I am so thankful to have such sweet friends who love my daugher like their own and who are such good friends to us! Even Chad....he can be sweet sometimes too!

Miss Kittie....this post is for you! I joked with Jen that I would update my blog with pics of her!

20 Weeks! and...I am still HAPPY! :)

I am officially 20 weeks pregnant as of yesterday! That means I am halfway there! I have not begun the countdown yet, I am still in no hurry! By this time with Kennedy we had her crib up and her room painted. My mom said the other day, "Don't you think you might need to start getting ready for this baby?" Maybe she is right! Here is what we have done so far. He has some very cute new clothes. Boy clothes are fun to buy. It is a change from all the pink(that I love) that Kennedy has! He has all the essential things that a baby needs that we had for Kennedy. I did go by the fabric store in Savannah the other day and looked for fabric for his room. I found nothing. I have a vision for the room but I have to have the perfect fabric to begin my inspiration! A nursery is such a fun thing to put together. I loved to be creative with it! It takes time...So currently, he has no crib (k is still in that and might be for a while) no room (Greg is still using that for the office and is getting kicked out by July) no bedding, no closet.....what in the world? I have a lot to do! So, my little new baby, you stay in there and rest for a whole lot longer. Mommy has a lot to do to get ready for you!
